This would make a great Christmas present to any GH1/GH2/AF100 owner. A ridiculously fast f0.95, 25mm, MicroFourThirds wunder lens. That is stupid fast. All this low light sexiness can be your for about $1,000 bucks.

3D Freeze Frame
Did a cool 3D shoot at CSUN last night. Wanted to try out my new IGUS camera slider. This shot is going to be in 3D with a time freeze element. Which means lots of rotoscoping. Yikes. Take a look at the frame grab above to get an idea of what the final is going to look like. You will need to view with the Red/Cyan glasses.
Take that James Cameron:)

Backyard 3D Anaglyph
I was helping my friend Erin out with her computer today, and she was nice enough to help me out with a quick and dirty 3D test. You will need a pair of Red/Cyan glasses in order to view the photo, otherwise it will look a little strange.
Don't forget to go to Erin's "The Simultania Project" to sign up and participate.
To quote my buddy Nick Cage...Oh bitchin', is this in 3D? "No, but your face is."
Steve's Camera Service
Recently I had a problem with my old Canon FL 35mm f2 lens. I took it over to Steve at Steve's Camera Service Center and got it fixed in about twenty minutes. If you have old manual lenses or vintage camera bodies and you need some servicing, the only place to go to in Los Angeles would be Steve's. Nice guys, fast service, what more could you ask for?

The Simultania Project
A good friend of mine has a really cool video project that needs your help. I will be participating, and you should too.
The Simultania Project is about having different people from all over the world film the same 1-minute-moment in time on Saturday, November 13, and then assembling the resulting footage into a video installation that plays back all the simultaneous perspectives together and in sync.
The project is about Simultaneous Realities, the idea that the unfolding of one's own reality is happening in parallel with the unfolding of everyone else's. It's about realizing that other experiences of consciousness are occurring right now besides your own.
Be a part of the Simultania Project by supplying your point of view of the world during the 1-minute-moment on November 13, 2010!

Cell Phone Wide Angle Macro Lens
Just received my cell phone Wide Angle/Macro Lens from China. Shipping took about a week, and it only costs about 10 bucks. It's a nifty little item that makes you feel a little like James Bond. You attach a magnetic ring to your camera's built in lens. Then you can stick on either a wide angle or macro lens depending on your needs. It even comes with a little lanyard and lens cap.
The quality is actually quite good, and it does in fact enhance the power of your cell phone's camera.
I bought mine from this guy. Xbus.
If you want to spend twice as much you can buy it from Photojojo.
